We produce a final product that we would be happy to own and drive ourselves. Whether it’s a bare metal restoration or minor bodywork we can cater for your needs.
Our small team all have a passion for cars and if you love what you do you will produce the desired results. For these reasons we are not a 'yes to all' enquiries. If we don't believe the job will be satisfying or the results what we would like then we are honest and happy to offer advice or an alternative.
The vast majority of our work is through customers up and down the country. We believe this is not only down to quality of work but also our relationship with the customer. From the get go we are upfront and honest with all our advice and what work will be carried out. We keep every customer updated with progress throughout the job and always happy to answer questions.
You can find images and videos of our previous work on our Facebook and Instagram Pages detailing various stages of the process.
Our passion. Whether it be restoring a vehicle to its former glory or building a car for the shows, this is our bread and butter and what we love.
We use high quality products from start to finish on our jobs to ensure that the car stays looking fresh long after it leaves the workshop.
We spend time with potential customers discussing their visions and ideas prior to accepting the job as we want to ensure its something that can be done correctly within budget and not a quick fix.
We offer different types of payment plans to suit the customer and keep them as involved as possible throughout process, we are more than happy when they turn up with coffee and biscuits to see the progress. All our work is documented through pics which we email across for the customers records.

The reality is not everyone has the budget for this. There is a saying in this trade, good work is not cheap and cheap work is not good. A high quality resto or repaint has many stages and require high quality products that will last, these come at a price.
Skimping on either of these will result in one of two things, a poor end product or a car that needs redoing in a couple of years time.
From experience if it sounds to good to be true it usually is.
Not everyone has the budget to carry out a restoration on their vehicle but quality results can still be achieved with just a repaint depending on the condition of the bodywork and other factors. Although this will not have the same end result and longevity of a restoration it suits the needs of owners who do not intend to keep the vehicle for many years.
Although our passion is with older vehicles we can carry out all manner of body repairs and paintwork on all vehicles.
A service that is provided in house through an external source. The feedback from the results has been fantastic.
Although we try to offer estimates as accurately as we can based on experience, these are just estimates and never quotations. We work off an hourly labour rate and each hour is documented with a description of work carried out. We document all of our work with pictures showing the process start to finish of work.
We require a non refundable booking in deposit to reserve a slot. Upon commencing work payment to cover hours and materials and topped up as the job moves along. This allows the customer to take breaks if they need to and we can hold off working on the vehicle until the customer is financially ready to proceed. This also eradicates the need for large, unexpected invoices at the end.
We use the only product line on the market designated specifically for classic car restoration.
Novol for Classic Car.
Each product from the line has a specific purpose in the process. The information is easily found online and we encourage all our customers to read the benefits of applying this range.
As well as having experience in our own shop of this product we have also been trained over at the headquarters in Poznań in the correct application of this.
The E46 M3 is an iconic car, a modern classic. However design flaws are now appearing on these cars and need rectifying. We can address these issues in house not Only restoring your pride and joy but improving the factory issues.
Rear arch rot starts from inside on the E46. What may appear minor on the outer arch doesn’t tell the full story. We can replace your inner arches without the need to replace your outers. The new metal is fully welded and bonded using 3M panel bond before being epoxy primed. Afterwords the inner arch is covered in spray sealer and painted body colour to recreate a factory finish.
As per inner arch replacement but replacing the outer as well. We can also modify your arches with the CSL mod to allow more wheel clearance and elimate build up of dirt. Arch modification and bodywork/paint would be discussed as multiple variables on this.
A common point of failure. This requires a section of the outer sill being removed, the jacking point being repositioned to its original place and an A frame welded above it to add strength. The outer sill is then welded back in place, epoxy primed, spray sealed and coloured to give the factory look.
A common issue is rotting front wings. This is due to the arch liners rubbing inside the arch lip to bare metal and holding dirt and moisture which then rots through the panel. Once this happens the wings are beyond a repair that will last beyond a short period of time. Another common issue due to the low stance and squared off front end is stone chips to the front bumper and leading edge of the bonnet.
Our front end refresh not only has your M3 looking showroom again but rectifies the issues from the original design. We replace your rotten wings with OE new items which are epoxy primed on the back then coated with spray sealer creating a barrier between the metal and liner before before a coat of waxoyl. The bonnet is externally bare metalled before epoxy primer and any repairs. The front bumper is given a refresh and the doors are painted for colour match purposes.

This is for those wanting the same external finish as a restoration without the need to do the engine bay, underside or inside. All external panels would be bare metalled and or process followed, plus door shuts painted
This all depends on the condition of the paintwork on the car and can rarely be achieved on older vehicles. It would involving prepping the existing paintwork, stripping the car of glass, bumpers, trims etc and repainting original colour. This process would not come with any guarentee’s due to going over existing products.
For those wanting a quick prep, glass masked up and repaint. We’d give free advice on why not to do it And wish you luck.

Below is a document I wrote in the hope of bringing a clearer picture to the vehicle owner. This is essential for both the owner and the shop to have a clear picture from the outset of what could be involved and what to expect.
Although we can give an estimate through detailed pictures we would be more accurate seeing the vehicle at the workshop. This is a free estimate by appointment only
